However, another pilot question?
I've heard from some people that the best way to become a major airline pilot is attending Embry-Riddle, but after some research, I've heard a lot of students are still 100K + debt, and warned me that the whole "Finding work after college full" it is only propaganda. So my question is: Should I attend Embry-Riddle? And what is the alternative (To save money) way to becoming a pilot's largest passenger jet, and how long would it take? Please be as specific as possible. Thanks in advance
The pilot career ladder is not what it used to be. A decade ago or more, a commercially licensed pilot can expect to develop from a single-engine instructor, through various regional low-wage positions of aircraft, which eventually make money as a pilot for a major airline. Today, the money Rainbows End is no longer there, and the drivers have to spend many more years in grueling low-wage jobs with regional airlines. Many of them never go to teach part-time or co-pilot ranks. Many schools have pilot programs, some in conjunction with A & P or airport management, or simply as minors. A pilot's Embry-Riddle is no longer a sure ticket in the left seat. There is no sure way to get – except perhaps through the military. Consider, For example, the aviation program at Pacific Union College. Technology Engineering Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology can also be useful.

My boyfriend goes there, it will be a senior (graduating early). And two of my very good friends go there … a freshman and a third year.
